Production Manger-Shirts

We are looking for a new Production Manager to work within our Shirts team. As a production manager, you will be responsible for the entire production cycle of our Shirts collection. The cycle starts with ordering the fabric and ends the moment the shirts are shipped out of our factories. You will be in daily close contact with our mills in Italy and our ateliers in Asia. You will be responsible to keep all order data clean and up to date. You will monitor our ateliers daily on their performance on our key KPI’s: Quality, Leadtime, and Price. You will inform the right stakeholders in case of any major production delays or issues. We are looking for someone who can work independently and who is eager to streamline the current production process. We are therefore looking for someone with at least 5 years’ experience in production and/or buying, preferably in (men’s) tailoring. Experience in Shirts production is a nice-to-have.

Your typical week includes

• Atelier capacity planning.
• Fabric order management.
• Product order management.
  • Including updating stakeholders on any major changes.
• Quality management
  • Including factory & product performance on quality.
• Set up processes to improve flexibility in our production cycle.
• Adjust current processes to decrease manual work & error-prone work.
• Support in creating a long-term vision for shirt production within Shirts.
• Work closely with the Production Coordinators (2 people)
• Report to Irene Dost (Senior Production Manager Shirts)

This job might be for you if you have

• 5 years’ experience, preferably in (men’s) tailoring in buying and/or production.
• A good understanding of the product (Shirts) and the market.
• Excellent planning and time management skills
• An extreme eye for detail
• An entrepreneurial mindset and are not afraid to speak your mind
• Good communication skills
• Good analytical skills
• An eye for aesthetic
