Position Overview
The Assistant Merchandiser will support Lauren Accessories. This role will be responsible for providing day to day merchandise activities to support the category merchant. Responsible for GFE system management, sample management, adoption/line opening materials, report creation and general merchandising support.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Execute and manage integrity of line definition in GFE+ - internal merchandising system; including accurate & timely data entry & system updates for all merchandising item definition and line changes
* Responsible for sample process including tracking of NY and EU Showroom samples; Management and organization of Marketing samples; managing to sample accuracy, tagging, organizing, and labeling samples
* Attend design meetings as directed by category merchant/manager
* Maintain and follow through on daily interaction with cross functional teams.
* Track and present competitive and trend relevant information.
* Responsible for assisting in all milestone meeting preparation - Board Review, Adoption, Proto Review, and Sales Meeting.
* Assist with ad hoc projects and work with the team as requests arise
* Distribute and maintain accurate Notes and Changes file to help communicate line changes to cross functional teams.
* Support all necessary merchandising functions.

* Bachelor's Degree
* Strong communication, interpersonal & teamwork skills
* Highly organized, detail oriented & accurate
* Strong Analytical skills
* Resourceful, efficient and takes the initiative
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Contribute to a positive, solution-oriented and progressive work environment promoting teamwork
* Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook , PowerPoint) and Photoshop
