SCOPE OF THE JOB

Creative Media provides a full photographic post-production service for various teams and departments within Burberry. Executing creative and technical retouching requirements on any given image for the business.

JOB PURPOSE

Working within the Creative Media Department, the role will cover our core creative post-production projects that are managed internally, working across a wide range of projects for all media channels.

Applying the highest possible creative and technical retouching skills to a range of images styles, working collaboratively across the business with multiple teams to enable the successful post-production of our campaigns.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Explore and interpret creative briefs.
  • Retouch images from capture through to delivery to agreed timelines.
  • Work across a broad range of image styles as needed; Fashion, Beauty, Still Life, Architecture, Event, Ambient and creative concepting.
  • Utilise and develop technical and creative skills with Adobe Suite software.
  • Build strong partnerships with project stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and productive way of working.
  • Work flexibly to changing priorities.
  • Colour matching all imagery to product/sample.

  • Reduced cost to business by using internal teams instead of freelance resource.
  • Improved workflow and productivity resulting in profitability.
  • Images retouched to expected standards on time and to brief.
  • Improved collaboration with other teams.
  • Translate and apply creative direction through to final deliverable.
  • Streamlined communication within CMD to maintain multiple project requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Photography or Graphic design desirable

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a photography and/or graphic design Studio environment.
  • Experience working for a luxury brand.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of photoshoot processes.
  • Knowledge and experience of Adobe Creative Suites.
  • Apple computer knowledge essential.
  • Wacom Board/ Pen experience essential.
  • Understanding of photography, and an eye for detail is essential.
  • Wacom Board/ Pen experience essential.
