As part of Travel Retail Asia team focusing on digital and e-business project management, the Assistant Digital & E-Business Manager will be primarily managing a portfolio of Hainan projects and other Asian markets targeting Chinese clients to support sales and marketing goals, ensuring they are fully strategized, executed and checked in line with the team's strategic priority and the Maison's standard.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital & E-Business Strategic Planning for Business Results and Growth
  • Partner with Manager to develop annual digital and e-business marketing strategy c overing all media aspects, primarily digital with support of integrated marketing and client engagement efforts
  • Design, plan and implement e-business platform launches for novelty launch, festive seasons, peak online moments and ad-hoc projects if needed
  • Maintain annual 3 rd party site production and marketing calendar
  • Drive 3 rd party site development and enhancement of customer journey and experience to meet and accelerate online sales growth target
  • Expand travel retail e-business footprint with a mindset of innovations, new business models and operating models


Digital & E-Business Operation
  • Lead execution of 3 rd party e-business & digital marketing campaigns with support of agency, headquarter and operators from consumer experience design, creative ideas, media plan, page/banner production, traffic, technical testing, KPI set-up and result evaluation
  • Support Manager in driving performance conversion media in partnership with media agency
  • Responsible for follow-up and monitoring with product and merchandising teams on stock inventory, forecasting & logistic delivery for e-business success
  • Ensure timely media launch with media and creative agencies
  • Lead and manage call center team in terms of training, motivating mechanism, to expand client data acquisition target in the future


Analysis & Reporting
  • Deliver regular business reporting on acquisition channels and site metrics, new launch success, and other ad-hoc analysis as needed
  • Fully understand digital behavior of customers, digital marketing trends, and best practice in APAC especially China.
  • Look for ways to improve process and execution of strategy


Project Management & Partnership
  • Be an ongoing and effective project communicator & facilitator with different stakeholders, internally with headquarters, Richemont legal, operation & product team; externally with agencies & operators
  • Manage project progression and details in a timely manner and with can-do spirit
  • Business travels to China expected


Finance Management
  • Manage digital communication and e-business related finance procedures, incl. routine payment, A&P tracking, etc.


KNOWLEDGE & PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
  • 5+ years proven experience including project management with online retailers/ operators in e-business platform, digital, marketing is a must
    • A good affinity with digital terminology and implementation
    • A deep understanding of China media & e-business ecosystem i.e. Alibaba, Tencent etc.
    • A good understanding of maintenance and technical issue prevention processes and implementation of such processes
  • Ability to deliver innovative customer experience and drive a new source of revenue for e-business development
  • Sound data-driven and commercial-oriented mindset of digital & e-business channels, able to manage and lead from strategic point of view
  • Experience in luxury and prestige industry related brand is a plus
  • Strong business communications skills in English and Chinese, both written and oral, strong command of Mandarin
  • Able to work with agility and good problem-solving skills and can work independently
  • Bachelor's degree or above in relevant major
