Job Details
MAIN PURPOSE
The main purpose of the job is to:
- Carry out Import, and Re-Export in a systematic and timely manner.
- Ensuring proper inbound, outbound and warehousing functions.
- Monitoring and reporting of KPIs of the service providers.
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Ensuring Compliance at all levels as per Group and Local Statutory Requirements.
- Accurate and daily Updation of data on ERP for Receipts and Despatch.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Timely clearance of all consignments in respect of KPI's
- Liaison with Customs, logistics service providers, transport service providers and retailers
- Coordinate with the Clearing and forwarding agent for timely filing of Bill of entry.
- Accurate documentation in ERP
- Communication with Brands and Retailers for shipment arrival and dispatch.
- Month-end reporting of all purchases, sales and any other requirements from time to time
- Ensure timely payments to all logistics vendors
- Ensure that all supplier invoices are received and validated in a timely manner.
- Carry out Re- Exports (Sec 74, Repair and Return) in a timely manner.
Compliance responsibilities
- Ensure trade compliance are fulfilled prior to importation/re-exportation as below:
- Customs laws
- Special valuation branch (SVB)
- MRP labelling as per legal meteorology packaged commodity rules
- BIS registration
- WPC certification and necessary import license
- CITES
- TTC
- Phyto sanitary certification
- Compliance with new Hallmarking order
- GST compliances:
- GST details validation prior to dispatch
- E-waybill generation, monitoring and related GST compliance
- Group compliance:
- Transportation directives
- INCOTERMS directive
JOB PROFILE
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Required experience:
One to Two years related experience in import and export. Experience in watches/jewellery will be an added advantage.
Should have handled air cargo consignments.
Preferable experience in Re-Export (Sec-74 and Repairs)
Language:
Ability to read, write & speak English fluently
