Responsibilities

GCDS is looking for a motivated software developer with strong issue resolution / problem solving skills with extensive NetSuite architecture expertise. The candidate would be developing, maintaining and optimizing custom NetSuite code and scripts with an eye towards stability, performance and automation. Additionally, provide overall architecture guidance and vision for NetSuite.

  • Develop technology solutions through collaboration with business users and other technology staff
  • Lead issue resolution for the NetSuite platform, integration teams, and upstream and downstream impacts
  • Perform root cause analysis on major problems and recurring issues
  • Optimize performance and usage of the NetSuite solution, provide overall architecture guidance and vision for NetSuite.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience working as an IT professional in technical roles
  • 2+ years Practical experience with mission-critical enterprise systems based on NetSuite platforms
  • Advanced knowledge of the NetSuite platform (2019.2)
  • Javascript ECMA6, SuiteScript 2.0
  • Knowledgeable in relational database architecture and methods
  • Experienced in developing complex SQL queries - SQL Server, SQL Stored Procedures/optimization, ODBC JSON, SOAP, XML, HTML5, REST
  • Experience with any object oriented language (Java, C#, C++, PHP)

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience with data/application integration architecture and methods
  • Experience with web-based extensions and scripting techniques - JavaScript experience preferred
  • Knowledge with MEAN stack(NodeJS, Express.js, Angular) AWS, Azure, Az Logic Apps and Pivotal Cloud Foundry is a plus.
  • Netsuite SuiteFoundation and SuiteCloud developer II Certified highly desired
  • NetSuite ERP Consultant Certification highly desirable
  • NetSuite SuiteCommerce Advanced Certification highly desirable

Giuliano Calza was born in Naples, Italy in 1988. Following his studies in Political Science, he moved to Milan for a master’s degree in Marketing & Communication at Bocconi University. At 23 years old, he won a scholarship at Shanghai University where he learnt Chinese and decided to spend 4 more years to master his knowledge of the Chinese market, starting another business.

In 2015, he founded GCDS with his brother Giordano Calza. Today, Giuliano Calza is the Creative Director of the brand which has attracted the likes of a large community. thanks to its instantly recognizable graphics, embroideries and craftsmanship made in italy. 

The company is based in the heart of milan, italy. The Shoes and accessories are producted in the south of italy, while the knitwear and jersey and cotton items are manifactured near milan.
