As the Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining all functions related to Accounts Payable including vendor management, lifecycle payables management, and account reconciliations. Our ideal candidate is self-directed, proactive, and possesses resourcefulness to take on a variety of assignments. We’re looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a team-player and someone who is extremely organized. This position is located in Los Angeles, CA, and reports to the Sr. Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in cash management by owning the accounts payable process, including related reconciliations and reports
  • Assist in forecasting company’s commitments and continue to refine forecast against actual expenditure
  • Participate in the month-end close process, including reconciliation of various GL accounts
  • Assist with compliance activity – financial statement audit, foreign entity compliance, etc
  • Ownership of periodic filing and remittance of various tax and other compliance related obligations, including annual 1099 preparation
  • Assist in managing the corporate card program, including monthly spend analysis
  • Report, manage, and analyze employee expense reimbursements
  • Assist in month-end reporting and analysis
  • Manage company vendor relationships on an ongoing basis

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Netsuite is a plus
  • Knowledge of Teampay is a plus
  • Knowledge of Tipalti is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • Proficient in Excel
