Assistant Market Editor

Role & Responsibilities:

• Pitch, collate and write daily content with a focus on shopping stories designed to drive commerce
• Merchandise edits and The Shop for strong affiliate conversion while maintaining Collagerie’s aspirational and fashion-forward point of view
• Collaborate with and support Chief Creative Officer Lucinda Chambers on all shoots
• Support and collaborate on all brand partnerships
• Oversee and coordinate all shoot call ins and logistics
• Refresh and update edits with current affiliate priorities in mind
• Track analytics and KPIs, with a special focus on affiliate, to ensure team and personal goals are met
• Keep finger on the pulse of retailers, brands, trends, key players, and industry news
• Develop brand and retailer relationships that build brand equity
• Bring an innovative and creative approach to everything you do
• Build a roster of contributors and tastemaker to add compelling voices to the content mix

Requirements:

• Strong visual sensibilities and communications skills
• Team player
• Sense of urgency and ability to quickly turn an idea into a final edit
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet tight daily deadlines with a strong sense of accountability

It would be great if the candidate also had experience in:

• Affiliate knowledge and/or commerce background 
• Online merchandising skills 
• Knowledge of SEO
• General working knowledge of HTML and CMS
