WATCH & JEWELRY CONSULTANT - PIAGET, YORKDALE

MAIN PURPOSE
The Watch and Jewelry Consultant role is a representative of Piaget and provides elevated experiences to all clients. The Watch and Jewelry Consultant is responsible for achieving sales targets and proactively developing the Piaget Client Base.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Performance & Service:
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs while proactively developing a Piaget client base.
  • Define and recruit prospective clientele.
  • Assist and support after sales clients to translate service to sales.
  • Develop a detailed knowledge of Piaget creations to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Participate in Boutique events in & out of the boutique in order to develop potential clientele and entertain existing client base.
  • Be savvy with client expectations as it relates to other brand treatments & offerings.
  • Share ideas and recommendations to management in development of individual business.
  • Liaise with external partners to creatively facilitate sales and develop client base.
  • Follow and implement all required procedures, standards and policies as outlined in the Retail Book and RISE.

Clients' Treatment:
  • Provide exceptional customer service surpassing client's expectations at every opportunity.
  • Demonstrate the refined luxury lifestyle of Piaget through customer service, attitude, personal grooming, dress code and behavior at all times.
  • Ability to provide luxury experience to capitalize on HJ potentials & HJ clients.
  • Ensure the highest level of service and care for both clients and prospects.
  • Implement an effective data capture & follow up for clients, prospects, CS and reservations.
  • Build, develop and maintain your own Local and International client database ensuring client's loyalty.
  • Fully utilize client data base as well as any external research to best define action plans for each client (especially HJ & HJ potentials).
  • Resolve client challenges with the highest professionalism, promptly and successfully by investigating problems, developing solutions and making appropriate recommendations to Boutique Management.

Boutique Operations:

General:
  • Recommend improvements to the management team in all aspects of the boutique operations/maintenance.
  • Attend and participate in all boutique meetings and trainings as required.
  • Support the management in any back of house/administrative operations as requested.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by supporting the boutique in ad-hoc responsibilities.
  • Utilize boutique technology to facilitate sales and operational functions with an omni-channel mindset.
  • Compliance with Richemont and Piaget policy & procedures to ensure efficient daily operations.

Stock Control:
  • Control inventory quality (scratches, movements, batteries for quartz watches) maintaining exceptional selling conditions.
  • Participate and support in all boutique inventory activities-daily, weekly, monthly, yearly.
  • Take ownership of designated inventory categories, maintaining the highest standard.

Visual Merchandising:
  • Implement and follow all standards as per the Boutique Visual Merchandising guidelines.
  • Actively ensure merchandise presentation reflects VM standards and general cleanliness of the boutique at all times


QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
  • High school. Bacehlor's degree preferred.

Technical Skills/Abilities:
  • 3 to 5 years' experience with a strong passion and understanding for the luxury retail and/or service industry.
  • Demonstrable sales skills and success gained as a sales consultant (2 years' experience minimum) in a luxury Retail or Service environment is required.
  • Foreign languages preferred (English is a must).
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Well-groomed and demonstrate an attitude of professionalism, conscientiousness and reliability.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Luxury market, Customer service and High Watch and Jewelry industry.
  • Show innovation and initiative in setting customer care standards.
  • Demonstrate respect and politeness.
  • Computer Knowledge in Microsoft; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Able to work flexibly, embrace and manage change.

  • Takes initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow through on all aspects of responsibility
  • Savoir faire attitude in all social environments.
  • Has a "team player" spirit and the ability to work well within a group/team dynamic
  • Tech savvy to support with daily boutique & clienteling activities.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
  • Enthusiastic, self-confident and self-motivated with a positive attitude at all times.
  • Understand and represent the luxury lifestyle image of Piaget.
