Reporting to the Accountant, the Junior Accountant will support the P&L and balance sheet accounting, and the financial reporting.

In this role you will collaborate with all internal Departments and other external suppliers.

Your Mission:

    • Support in the review of the Retail sales postings and process;
    • Review the invoices posted to cost of goods and, in collaboration with the Manager, book any adjustments where necessary;
    • Support in the review of current finance process and set up and update of the new ERP (SAP);
    • Support in the management of general accounting records including Fixed Assets and Depreciation;
    • Support in the management of closing process for Statutory and Management Financial statement;
    • Support in the management of bank reconciliation process at monthly level;
    • Collaborate in the management of intercompany recharges and reconciliation with other group entities;
    • Support in liaise with the third-party provider to obtain and post all payroll entries;
    • Collaborate in liaise with the third-party provider to ensure that all tax accounting and compliance is made on time e.g. VAT/IVA, intrastat, Esterometro Statutory accounts, draft corporation tax, etc.;
    • Support in the creation of P&L / Balance Sheet and Cash Flow analysis;
    • Support for ad hoc administrative and reporting activities.


Requirements:

    • Fluent in Italian and English;
    • A previous experience of M3/Infor and SAP accounting packages is preferable but not essential;
    • Preferable a gained experience to implement new ERP system;
    • Confident with numbers/Excel/accounting/retail & logistics;
    • Finance experience gained in medium-large structured companies;
    • Well organized, efficient and able to manage a varied workload;
    • Good attention to detail;
    • Good interpersonal skills and be a confident communicator at all levels;
    • Graduate in Business Administration;
    • 2-3 years of experience in Administration, Finance and Control;
    • Knowledge of M3/Infor Accounting System and SAP System;
    • Good use of Microsoft Office package, in particular excel.
