MAIN PURPOSE

The Regional L&D Manager's role is key to ensuring that learning & development in MEIA supports the business strategies, guiding principles, policies, processes and practices of the Richemont Group, and where necessary, adapting them to reflect local market needs and conditions, e.g. legal, regulatory, social and culture frameworks.

T he L&D function will provide guidance & support in learning opportunities and activities to promote organizational, growth & development while aligning with the Group's vision and values. You will work in close partnership with HR & Talent teams, the L&D Community & business to drive learning and development priorities f ostering a continuous learning & growth culture across the MEIA region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Learning and Development

Work with & contribute to the business by assisting Richemont and the Maisons to identify, prioritise and build organizational capabilities, behaviours, structures and processes:
  • Develop and implement learning & development roadmap & initiatives within the Company: Leadership programs, mentoring programs etc
  • Identify & analyze employee data to design and implement relevant programming and learning and capability interventions. Diagnoses development needs and executes a comprehensive development strategy inclusive of individualized learning, virtual classroom learning, team building, AI, gamification etc.
  • Evaluate & establish suitable KPIs, data analytics
  • Manage the LMS ('Learning Management System' Group on- line tool) and compliance requirements
  • Influences and develops leaders to promote a performance culture through effective utilization of tools and resources
  • Animate the L&D community across the Brands, and liaise with the Group L&D team


Budget
  • Plan & manage the annual training budget
  • Monitor budgets compliance & reporting
  • Create a process/framework to measure ROI of all training programs


Design & Delivery
  • Understanding the business strategy and its future capability needs to identify learning priorities across the region
  • Design, develop, lead & deliver on innovative approaches to development through innovative use of digital tools & AI
  • Formulate the annual and monthly training calendars for the concept and territories
  • Creation & delivery of functional, soft skills, manager & leadership programs
  • Applying adult learning theories in learning interventions and driving a culture of continuous development
  • Driving business initiatives to determine impact of learning effectiveness through engagement and coaching activities.


Performance Management & Talent Management
  • Lead & manage communication on the Performance Management process supporting Managers & employees in MEIA
  • Coach &ensure execution of deadlines and process and provide training to the respective stakeholders
  • Talent Development support: Provide implementation of plans and strategies through succession planning, talent development, leadership training and career framework


Internal Communications
  • Overarching Regional Communication Strategy, Planning & Execution
  • Leadership/Regional CEO and Exco Communication
  • Work across various important categories to ensure full support of regional management and motivation of employees in the local strategy and mission.
  • Strategic Messaging (per Corp. Function) - including Crisis for internal audiences
  • Wellbeing Activities /Local Engagement Initiatives
  • Global & Local HR Initiatives/Processes & Procedures
  • Key liaison for global communication and champion of our communication tools for all audiences: Live interactions (Face-to-Face/Live E-meetings), Digital (Reach & Yammer) and Print materials

PROFILE:

Educational Background

University / Bachelors degree in HR / Business Administration

Technical/Work-based Skills or specific knowledge (Must Have)
  • Solid in written & spoken English & excellent interpersonal skills
  • Arabic fluency is a must
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel & Powerpoint, Adobe
  • Project Management capabilities
  • Solid in: organisation & time management
  • Strong HR software experience ie: SAP
  • Middle East experience is a nice to have
  • Experience developing and implementing department goals and strategies based on broader organization goals.
  • Experience with data analytics


Experience
  • Minimum 10+ years' experience in HR & L&D roles
  • MNC experience + with knowledge / experience in the MEIA region
  • Experience of designing, leading & delivering learning development initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Knowledge of retail environment or luxury experience is a plus but not a must have
