AMIRI is looking for a qualified Director of Retail to join our growing team!  As Director of Retail, you’re equally passionate about building a highly motivated, success-driven team and delivering an unparalleled store experience for our guests. In this position, you’ll manage the day-to-day of all retail locations—with a strong focus on employee development, team building, motivation, empowerment and growth--as well as work on opening new locations. In addition to overseeing the stores and retail teams, this role will also work in close collaboration with high-level executives to plan, strategize and set department goals.

Duties of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Managing the day-to-day internal workings of the Retail stores/teams/etc.
  • Fostering a culture of growth, development and excellence throughout the department
  • Daily people management—coaching, broadening skills, building talent and encouraging individual and team development
  • Overseeing communication throughout the retail division and ensuring consistency
  • Developing strategy based on detailed planning and research—analyzing data, assessing information, drawing conclusions and identifying areas of opportunity
  • Expanding the department's success while identifying efficiency opportunities
  • Collaborating frequently with Company executives to identify division needs and establish future goals

Our ideal candidate has:

  • 7–10 years of progressively responsible retail management experience, preferably in the high-end or luxury market
  • Deep knowledge of internal and external retail operations
  • Strong familiarity with domestic labor laws, OSHA safety laws, and COVID-prevention best practices
  • Superb communication and training skills
  • An understanding of productive workflows and the ability to identify entrenched issues for better efficiency
  • Strong process management and implementing structured processes to provide a consistent retail experience
  • The ability to give regular and clear feedback to individuals and teams, as well as to provide and receive constructive criticism
  • Experience working directly with high-level executives
  • Passion for providing excellent customer service
  • Strong analytical and planning skills
  • Capacity to multitask to meet simultaneous demands
  • Ability to work a full-time, flexible schedule
  • Ability to travel frequently (when safely allowed)
