Senior Merchandiser

Your typical day includes:

• Managing a merchandiser, coaching and developing the team with a focus on elevating and sharpening buying and merchandising practices
• Owning the  assortment plan for your categories in collaboration with planning and design to  ensure a customer-focused, commercial and attractive assortment that is delivered to stores and online
• Working cross-functionally with greater commercial teams to ensure changes in market performance are read and reacted to in quick and decisive ways. 
• Collaborate with design, production, eCommerce and digital creative teams to ensure product strategies are appropriately communicated at all customer touchpoints. 
• Strategically consider changes in customer buying patterns in the short and mid-term to holistically augment current and future assortments
• Tasks may include, but are not limited to,  Item Creation and Price Management in various internal systems, Preparation of Photo Shoots, Line Plan creation by channel and region, and Sample Management

This job might be for you if you have: 

• 8+ years of experience in fashion (buying and merchandising), of which at least 5+ years as a people manager
• Experienced in merchandising of high-quality tailoring brands, having extensive product knowledge about menswear
• Experience from a vertically integrated, fashion retail company, wholesale experience also welcomed
• An appreciation and knowledge for the craftsmanship and design of both ready to wear and bespoke men’s clothing
• A keen understanding of the intersection of commerce and design
• The ability to think like there is no box; we value radically personal decision making that breaks from the norm
• Excellent skills in written and verbal English
• Strong skills and comfort level in Microsoft Office Suite
