Job Details
ZIMMERMANN is currently seeking a Visual Merchandising Manager to join the Retail Corporate team on a full-time basis.
Based in our Head Office in New York and reporting to our VP - Global Retail & Operations US and Senior VM Manager AU & US, this role will be responsible for achieving a consistently high standard of visual presentation and a high level of store and stock presentation across all US stores that is reflective of the brand directive and image.
The successful candidates' responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Planning visual merchandising directions for all US Zimmermann stores seasonal launches, weekly floor plans and windows
- Managing store openings; liasing with Studio McQualter, VP - Global Retail & Operations US, Retail Manager US on initial floor plans, store options, BOH options etc
- Partnering with US Retail team to review VM plans in order to maximize sales and meet Zimmermann's standards
- Managing store maintenance to ensure US stores are kept at an optimum level
- Preparing annual VM budgets for US stores
To be successful, you will have previous visual merchandising experience, an ability to multitask and have a genuine passion and understanding of luxury designer fashion.
Additional requirements:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Computer literacy with particular use of Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
- Reliability and punctuality
- Flexible and able to quickly and effectively change priorities and direction
- High attention to detail
