dunhill - Ecommerce Manager

(Permanent Full-Time)

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

The Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and trading of dunhill.com, taking ownership of driving online conversion and digital excellence on the website. Devising and actioning the commercial strategy with internal stakeholders to meet commercial targets.

There will be many exciting opportunities for the right person as our digital channels have strong ambitions to grow and we welcome new talent to help us achieve our goals while always challenging the status quo.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for day-to-day trading on dunhill.com, ensuring commercial targets are met and exceeded where possible
  • Oversee the operational requirements of the ecommerce function
  • Take ownership of all on site activity working closely with the online merchandiser and content specialist to drive sales
  • Actively provide website sales and performance reporting; producing daily, weekly and monthly reports, analysis and actions
  • Devising the commercial calendar for the .com collaborating with the email team with email planning and segmentation
  • Working with the marketing and CRM teams to drive online sales growth, maximising traffic and conversion from budget allocation to landing page optimisation
  • Manage SEO and Affiliate channels and agencies to dive awareness, traffic and conversion
  • Identify and support new ecommerce streams across social and 3 rd party sites partnering with wholesale and local commercial and marketing teams
  • Lead on-site CRO activity using reporting tools to make informed decisions to improve site conversion and customer journeys utilising A/B testing opportunities
  • Help in managing the 3rd party relationships that support the website identifying and driving different strategies to improve conversion
  • Support the Ecommerce Merchandiser on the seasonal buy to ensure product assortment supports website and trading calendar requirements
  • Input into imagery, content and campaign briefs using data and competitor analysis to ensure digital needs are met
  • By drawing on experience consistently identify new and better ways of doing things to add value, streamline processes and create new opportunities
  • Constantly bring the innovation development to both on page function and operational flows within the wider business
  • Work closely and cross departmentally within the business as well as external partners


HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
  • 3-4 years' experience within a similar ecommerce role
  • Strong numerical and analytical aptitude - very commercial and performance driven
  • Excellent verbal communication and solid system management capability
  • Superb time management and organisational skills
  • Highly self-motivated, analytical, with sharp attention to detail
  • Keen interest in the ecommerce and digital industry
  • Pro-active, enthusiastic and tenacious attitude
  • Results driven and dynamic approach - challenges status quo
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and all Microsoft applications
  • Good understanding of website management tools
  • Ability to communicate with different stakeholders from a variety of cultures and backgrounds
  • Learning agility - capable of picking up new processes and systems quickly
