Position Overview
Ralph Lauren is seeking an Equipment Coordinator to support all the digital product shoots at our two studios in Long Island City, NY. Responsibilities include maintaining budgets, keeping inventory organized and up to date, ordering gear and supplies when needed and providing studio office support. This individual should be comfortable working in a fast paced, high volume, studio environment and skilled in maintaining and continuously improving upon workflow efficiencies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
§ Maintain monthly & annual equipment & supplies budgets § Acquire new photo equipment & rent equipment as needed § Repair damaged equipment and send it out for repair as needed § Keep equipment & gear organized & inventory up to date § Aid in the build & breakdown of photo sets in-house and at location based shoots as needed § Collaborate with the Production & Photo teams to help ensure sets run smoothly § Communicate & manage correspondence with the building management, mail porter, and cleaning services § Office management including ordering supplies for studio such as janitorial, kitchen, styling & office
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
§ Experience with-in photography studio preferred § Good planning skills, detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills § Industry-standard knowledge & purpose of photography equipment § Collaborative, proactive, and energetic with ability to motivate teams to produce quality work on time and within budget § Works well in a fast-paced environment § Proficient in excel § Some IT/Technical skills with MacOS § Lighting & power usage knowledge
