Job Details

The Inventory Exceptions Team Lead role will be providing leadership support on a 5 day schedule, which may include Saturday or Sunday. This role will be responsible for overseeing the daily Inventory operations and exceptions by helping with facilitating the flow of product through the entire operations processing pipeline and working closely with the Inventory Management to establish metrics related to accuracy, control and quality assurance. This position reports directly to the Inventory Control Manager and will interact with employees at all levels across the company.

What You Get To Do Every Day
  • Play a key role in establishing reports, tracking and business analyst on inventory control and SLA's
  • Oversee team of Operations Associates and Coordinators and delegation of daily tasks 
  • Ensure all items submitted in consignment complete the inbound operations pipeline process
  • Help establish operating procedures and create improved department structure
  • Partner with cross functioning departments to provide visibility into inventory exceptions
  • Establish metrics around volume of inbound exceptions inquiries, investigations and buyouts
  • Establish metrics around volume of Outbound exceptions inquiries and investigations 
  • Handle escalated product investigation from consignor relations and customer service.
  • Handle all department reporting and monthly audits including count on hand adjustments, received not sku'd and sku'd not shot
  • Assist with building department metrics, goal settings and tools for tracking productivity for operations associates
  • Partner with Management to review goals and results before EIP payouts

What You Bring To The Role
  • 1 to 2 years work experience in inventory control, product analysis, e-commerce production or related fields
  • Strong analytical and business intelligence background is preferred
  • Strong leadership ability and desire to work in a fast paced startup environment.
  • Experience in ecommerce operations is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Inventory control and reconciliation
  • Comfortable working with large data sets and analyzing reports
  • Must have experience with using data platforms for reporting
  • Strong knowledge of excel and google sheets is required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills is required
  • Roll up the sleeves, action oriented mindset to have an impact in a fast-paced, rapidly changing and explosive growth environment
  • Takes direction and is able to flex priorities as needed
  • Can-do attitude and ability proactively take on challenging tasks
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of luxury goods preferred
