What You Get To Do Every Day
  • Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
  • Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance
  • Consult with management on employee relations & organizational situations, including policies procedures, & practices
  • Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
  • Plan and conduct new employee on-boarding & orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals
  • Administer performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization
  • Administer salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization
  • Contract with outside suppliers to provide employee services, such as canteen, transportation, or relocation service
  • Administer benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance
  • Coordinate management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment
  • Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation, and conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations

What You Bring To The Role
  • Bachelor's degree required, Masters preferred
  • 6+ years of progressive, well-rounded HR experience required, including 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Experience running a warehouse facility in a generalist capacity - eCommerce preferred
  • Customer Service - You can manage difficult or emotional customer situations; responding promptly to customer needs, soliciting customer feedback, responding to requests for service and assistance, and meeting commitments
  • Recruitment & Staffing - Exhibits sound interviewing skills, analyzes and forecasts staffing needs, and makes quality hiring decisions
  • Strategic Thinking - Develops strategies to achieve organizational goals, understands organization's strengths & weaknesses, analyzes market and competition, identifies external threats and opportunities, adapts strategy to changing conditions
  • Change Management - Develops workable implementation plans and communicates changes effectively, builds commitment and overcomes resistance, prepares and supports those affected by change, monitors transitions and evaluates results
  • Leadership - Exhibits confidence in self and others, inspiring and motivating others to perform well, influencing action, and giving appropriate recognition to others
  • Conflict Resolution - Encourages open communications; confronts difficult situations, maintains objectivity, and uses negotiation skills to resolve conflicts
