POSITION OBJECTIVE:

This position leads the health and growth of the Chico's FAS customer file through the power of the digital marketing channels. This position is responsible for all aspects of customer-centric, omni-channel campaign strategy, execution, and performance, optimizing digital marketing channel strategy and performance to maximize the health and success of the customer file for Chico's FAS. This person is the primary point of contact between the Digital Marketing team and the Chico's FAS Senior Leadership Team, providing real-time marketing performance insight, driving key decisions across the business.

This leader drives customer and therefore business performance (acquisition, assimilation, retention, frequency, and migration) for the Chico's FAS organization across all channels, using customer journey and contact planning, campaign planning, measurement, and analytics, and weekly, quarterly and annual business planning and hindsight to meet the customer and business KPI's for the organization.

The Senior Director uses a customer-first, modern marketing approach to digital marketing and customer file health and growth, understanding that digital marketing is key driving component, and partnering proactively across the marketing team and the broader FAS organization (all channels, all tactics) to drive a 360-approach to customer and business success at Chico's FAS.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Leads a multi-functional organization with the shared KPI responsibility of customer growth, traffic growth, revenue growth, and on-going upside opportunity identification and achievement
  • Addresses the medium and the message of Digital Marketing tactics, understanding the marriage of operational excellence with customer-centric content to create breakthrough messaging to all customer groups
  • Views 6-12 months into the future, partnering with cross-functional peers and Senior Leadership Team, to strategically plan for future business opportunity, preparing the Digital teams to drive and support existing and new opportunities
  • Leads teams in annual budgeting, projections, and strategic planning
  • Drives a technology-forward organization, encouraging leading edge vendor, feature, and functionality adoption focused on developing an industry-leading organization and capability set and serves as the executive point-of-contact for all MarTech vendor relationships, exploratory and on-going
  • Participates in data governance and compliance decisions for the Chico's FAS MarTech suite through partnership with IT, Legal, and BI.
  • Leads and partners across peer levels of the Chico's FAS organization, participating as an invaluable member of the First Team approach to positive business and organizational impact
  • Values individuality and the diverse talents of their team. Leads the team by communicatingexpectations, providing guidance, delivering feedback, and empowering the team to be their best.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Requires Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics or related field
  • 12+ years of Marketing leadership experience and retail experience in an omni-channel/multi-brand environment
  • Strong understanding of business KPIs and analysis
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy of data
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written, ability to make complex analytics into simple answers and ability to communicate at the executive level
  • Strong, proactive collaboration with peers and business partners across the organization
    • Excellent time management skills with the ability to quickly understand what's critical
    • Comfortable driving organizational evolution in both team structure and skill set, driving an industry-leading organization in capability and performance


Pay range is commensurate with relevant skills, industry experience and track record of success, among other factors as applicable for the position.

Associates may be eligible for incentive compensation based on a variety of factors including achievement of department/brand/corporate performance metrics and/or other variables as applicable for the position.
