Project manager (f/m/d)

INDEX is a new basics brand that is based between Berlin and Porto. During the last year we developed innovative technologies and never-before-seen manufacturing processes to create one-of-a-kind basics. Our garments are now about to hit the market, and we are looking to expand our team.

While the appearance of basics may seem simple, the manufacturing is not. Operating under the mindset that big changes happen when small changes mount up, INDEX aims to unlock these potentials by bringing experimentations, iterations, and a love for progressivity to the manufacturing process.

The results are a variety of long-lasting garments, rooted in the concept of everyday utility and sold straight from factories in Portugal to people who are mindful of what they wear.

We are looking for a manager to join our team!

Project manager (f/m/d)

Your main tasks: 

• You will be managing and overseeing the development, production and marketing/PR of our newly launched fashion brand
• You will manage and lead parallel work streams to monitor and ensure the timeliness of our business activities and collection releases.
• You will act as a central coordinator of tasks. You will work closely at the interface of our departments by being involved in project planning, progress tracking and monitoring. 
• You will be expected to produce regular team reports and “status-quo” while also deriving actions and measures required to move forward.
• You will constantly challenge and update the day-to-day activities of your team members.
• You will be expected to document and follow-up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
• You will create a management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.

What we expect of you:

• You have experience in managing complex projects and have developed a systematised way of working.
• You are a creative mind that has a good sense of aesthetics.
• You ideally have experience working in the garment production or fashion industry, but this is not required.
• You enjoy acquiring new skills and are eager to learn more about the sustainable production of garments.
• You have the ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
• You enjoy motivating and leading project teams.
• You are a structured and very well-organized person.
