JOB SUMMARY
  • As a Tory Burch Senior Merchandising M anager, F ootwear you are a critical leader and problem solver in the management of the supply chain; ensuring delivery compliance to meet customer demands .
  • Communicate, train, and execute delivery and compliance expectations across vendors
  • Coordinate and track the deliveries across vendors .
  • Proactively visit vendors , to increase transparency, identify issues and h elp to solve problems to avoid delivery delays.
  • Drive PD, Technical , QA teams to me et goal targets for deliveries


P RODUCTION
  • At Order Placement- Support NYO in efforts to negotiate and review all delivery dates with vendor .
  • Schedules, T racks, and reports on all request ed Production matters
  • Regular WIP management - Collaborate with PD, Materia l, Technical teams for WIP Management. V alidate all required steps are executed in a timely manner , including validation of testing prior to shipment . Coordinate/ Chair weekly communication . Escalate all risk and provide solutions.
  • Escalate missing or failed compliance or performance testing
  • Long lead t ime reporting and management
  • Partner with NY Production Manager to match projections with capacity plans, and escalate risk.
  • V isit factories and to identify deliveries problems and to proactive help to solve problems working with divisions, factories, suppliers.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and shoe factories to resolve quality and delivery issues.
  • Chair cross-functional meetings with Sourcing, Merchandising, PD , Technical and P roduction to discuss Vendor Performance shortfalls and develop corrective action plan
  • Maintains and track the KPIs from vendors, working close with other footwear team members
  • Delivery Hindsighting to d rive continuous performance improvement
  • Negotiate discounts, quality claims and air freight charges, as needed
  • Coordinate Speed/ Agility track programs
  • Manage style list to vendors for regional RSL testing


ADMINISTRATION
  • Point person for resolving GTN issues
  • Coordinate deliveries with PL M


OTHERS
  • Vendor Onboarding / Exiting
  • Communicate timely and effectively with cross-functional partners as well as external vendor partners; take charge to streamline processes
  • Partner with the Merchandising team to ensure orders are submitted according to planned seasonal flow
  • Analyze production capacity vs. monthly output targets; publish bi-weekly or monthly report
  • Identify risks and opportunities in the peaks and valleys of monthly production output
  • Vendor Score-carding across all major attributes of performance. Establish, measure, and report KPIs for each of the vendor partners .
  • Perform ad-hoc delivery analysis as required by management
  • Track , report and manage material liabilities
  • Actively manage the supply side of the seasonal calendar
  • Update and maintain packing guidelines .
  • Coordinate package materials, labels , including validation of Fur Labeling verbiage


EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
  • BS/BA/BFA degree
  • Minimum 8 - 10 years in footwear leather and textile sourcing and development
  • Able to work in a fluid, fast-paced, multi-channel environment.
  • Strong negotiation, collaborative, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical skills: with ability to crunch data and draw conclusions
  • D etailed oriented , also with ability to embrace ambiguity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel
