Job Details

Are you a skilled audio editor looking to work for one of Apple Podcasts’ Top 10 podcasts? Do you love the art of long-form storytelling and bringing short-form buzzy content to life? If so, we want to speak with you!

Named to Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies list in 2017, Digiday's Most Innovative Publisher in 2018, one of Comparably’s Best Companies for Company Culture in 2019, and one of Built In LA’s best place to work in 2021, Who What Wear is looking to hire a Podcast Preditor to work on our podcast team.

As the Podcast Preditor, you will work on our growing podcast team to bring inspiring and engaging content to life. You'll focus primarily on editing two in-house podcasts: a long-form series in the career category (Second Life, 11M+ downloads to date, Apple Podcasts' Careers Top 10) and a new buzzy short-form show in fashion, beauty, and entertainment. From setting the show's pace and tone to speech optimization, interview mixing, and more, you will be involved in launching and growing a series from the ground-up and contribute significantly to the quality of our content.

The ideal candidate has a keen understanding of the technicalities of audio editing, mixing, and mastering for podcasts with an understanding of the fashion, beauty, and entrepreneurial space. A strong interest in digital media is essential, and the ability to effectively communicate ideas is key. We’re a small, nimble team with the creative freedom to experiment and see what works, so be ready to show us your imaginative mindset and creative ideas!
