JOB PURPOSE

Main focus of the role is to manage the supply and demand of the business, within the UK manufacturing facility, to ensure the delivery of the product is met within agreed timescales, engage with all internal and external stakeholders as required, from planning the work to the factory, through to delivery performance reporting and analysis with the corporate teams. Responsible for end to end management of the order alongside with customer service. Capacity management, scenario planning and critical path management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the Planning administrator
• Capacity Plan management and reporting
• Converting planned orders to production orders, following agreed parameters
• Production plan & Schedule management
• Cutting room capacity tracker
• Perform general production control, reporting and / or planning tasks to support the achievement of the schedule and our customer service and cost targets
• Order management, progress updates, milestone dates
• Critical path management
• Provide input to seasonal fashion style, volumes achievable, development and delivery
• Sample order co-ordination
• Chair weekly production meetings with large cross functional teams
• Chair weekly planning meetings with the cross functional head office teams
• Oversee & assist with as required the release of production orders to the specified schedule
• Manage any raw material outstanding's and create Transfer Order's when trims are received
• Produce and publish bespoke and regular reports on open capacity, delivery, production volumes, product mix assumptions as requested, using SAP and Excel as appropriate
• Conduct housekeeping of the production stock and movements in the system including recording scrap accurately, de-allocating components not used, organising returns to available stock, checking goods issued, etc
• Scrap move tickets and process QC2 garments as required
• Work with the Planning Manager to improve ways of working and reporting in SAP
• Undertake any other duties as applicable in order to support the smooth running of Procurement & Planning department (e.g., procurement administration

PERSONAL PROFILE

• SAP experience
• Strong advanced Excel working knowledge
• Data analysis, numeracy
• Experience working at a global/regional/multi country level
• Analytical, interpretative and strong decision-making skills
• Some people management experience
• Excellent communication skills
