Title: Copywriter

Location: Dallas, Texas (near Uptown area)

Reports into: Marketing Team


The role of Copywriter is responsible for creating digital and print content for rewardStyle and customers including, but not limited to, training & education, thought leadership, industry strategy papers, product descriptions, blog posts, email subject lines and body copy, social media posts, consumer messaging, taglines, brand positioning and propositions, etc.

The candidate will be highly investigative and full of new ideas. S/He will remain current on today's trends, best editorial practices, industry insights and communication vehicles for consumption. This role requires strong written, verbal, and listening skills as well as an extreme attention to detail. Proven experience creating strategic online content for multiple audiences and an understanding of how to encourage customers to engage with brands.

  • Deliver all copy needs across audiences on-time and on-brand
  • Create messaging that transcends website and digital advertising campaigns to other facets of the digital landscape
  • Create work that drives engagement
  • Write and edit both short and long form product/marketing content for multiple audiences and platforms i.e., training documents, feature articles, product descriptions, social media, announcements, blogs, whitepapers etc.
  • Collaborate with a creative team to maintain cohesion in campaigns
  • Effectively absorb the tone to quickly and efficiently weave through communications
  • Collaborate and ideate around compelling, inspiring, emotive messages to deliver a consistent brand experience
  • Develop brand narrative and storytelling across our audiences

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism or related field
  • Proven experience creating engaging online content
  • Creative, curious, investigative, full of new ideas and a desire to learn
  • 5+ years experience writing creative, editorial and technical marketing content
  • Exceptional communication skills and highly organized
  • Transition seamlessly between different writing styles, audiences and platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and handle stress in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proven ability to work effectively within cross-departmental teams
  • Versed in customer behavior and understand how to engage them with copy
  • Scrappy go-getter - you'll have to be the roll up your sleeves-type and work autonomously
  • Comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities
  • A "can-do" attitude and superb interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, are an absolute must
