Social Media and PR Coordinator

The Social Media and PR Coordinator will have day to day responsibility for the social media channels of Sister Jane and Ghospell as well as providing support to the PR Manager to execute the communication strategy for the company's two brands.
Based at the brand’s offices within the Sister Jane Townhouse, and working remotely when possible, the Social Media and PR Coordinator will act as an ambassador for the two brands.

Social Media

• Execute a results-driven social media strategy in order to increase followers and engagement
• Create and implement the weekly social media plans, identifying relevant UGC and ensuring the latest brand’s collections are effectively communicated
• Writing copy for the Sister Jane, Ghospell and the Sister Jane Townhouse instagram, in line with the brand’s tone-of-voice
• Respond to direct messages including general customer inquiries and post comments
• Review analytics, creating reports on key metrics
• Resizing, editing and cropping imagery where necessary
• Update the brands’ Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter feeds with new content
• Responsibility of manually posting stories and carousel imagery
• Scheduling posts and stories using social platforms
• Liaising with the Creative Team on targeted stories

PR

• Support the PR Manager in implementing a Global Public Relations strategy for the two brands, working closely with e-commerce and digital marketing to ensure an integrated approach
• Oversee press inquiries, building on existing relationships with media and stylists, with a focus on digital and short lead titles in the UK and internationally
• Increase exposure of both brands by actively pitching product, trends and new launches to targeted press, ensuring this aligns with the most recent collections
• Proactively follow sales and sell-through reports in order to identify new opportunities for further exposure of both brands
• Manage and continuously update press and influencer databases
• Responsible for overseeing and actioning sample movement, send outs and returns
• Support the PR Manager in implementing global celebrity placement and influencer marketing, including product gifting for each new collection
• Oversee the assembling and distribution of global gifting
• Assist in planning and organising press, influencer and customer event activity
• Closely monitor and report on press and influencer coverage
• Manage interns, including overseeing their recruitment and training
   

The Candidate

• 2-3 years experience in social media and fashion PR in a similar role
• Social media savvy with a strong sense of aesthetic and attention for detail
• Strong copywriting skills
• A strong understanding of cultural trends inclusive of fashion, media, music and art
• Good existing relationships with key press, stylists and current influencers
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, but small team, across multiple projects
• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
• A highly motivated, organised and extremely detail-oriented individual who shows great initiative
• The ability to be hands on and also strategic
• Proactive in seeking, identifying and developing new opportunities
• International outlook and international experience is beneficial
