Stine Goya is currently recruiting an astute and experienced Sourcing & Buying Manager to work within the company's fast-paced product production team. Reporting to the Head of Development & Production, the ideal candidate will come bearing a passion for sustainability and product, exceptional organizational skills and a can-do attitude.

Sourcing

• Fabric and trim sourcing for Stine Goya’s four annual collections in close collaboration with the design team and with support from the Head of Development & Production.
• Consistently approaching sourcing and developing new fabrics and trims with a sustainable mindset and ensure new qualities are meeting the Stine Goya needs, wishes and requirements
• Pre-book sampling fabrics and materials
• Order placement for sampling and coordinating deliveries
• Maintain current manufacturer relations and build new ones according to the company’s product strategy

Buying

• Working across all seasons and taking charge for Stine Goya’s production and buying procedures, from sales samples to delivery of final bulk
• Assuring the company’s suppliers adhere to the Code of Conduct and other regulations and contracts
• Maintenance and updating of supplier manual and supporting documents
• Responsible for forecasting, pre-booking, stock orders and fabric bookings at CMT suppliers
• Negotiations on costing and delivery
• Order placement in ERP system Spy
• Quality testing and factory audits to ensure all standards are being met
• Close collaboration with customer service on claims and actions towards suppliers
• Proactive in developing the company’s CSR and sustainability activities
• Participate in fittings, follow pre-production and shipment samples
• Responsible for monitoring bulk approvals and purchase orders
• Monitor deliveries together with supply chain
• Update deliveries in ERP SPY and communicate to the company’s sales channels.
• Making sure all product info and care instructions are correct in ERP and other system/specs

Key competencies

• Experience working with sustainable strategies and implementation
• High sense of quality, workmanship and attention to detail and experience working in CMT
• Excellent with numbers and Excel
• Strong negotiator with good organisational and communicative skills
• Keen problem solver with a proactive attitude
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Established supplier network across all tiers and product categories, within both Europe and Asia
• Acute technical knowledge of fabrics, yarns and trims
• Strong understanding of garment construction
• Comfortable travelling to manufacturing countries
• Experience working with ERP systems such as Spy is considered a plus
