Financial Analyst

AMIRI is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our growing Finance team. The Financial Analyst will be a key supporting role to AMIRI’s daily finance and accounting activities with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis. This position will report to AMIRI’s Controller and will be based in Los Angeles, California.

Key Duties/Tasks

• Develop and prepare various financial analysis of a multi-unit retail apparel business
• Analyze KPIs, trends, and other critical business results to support the financial strategies of the business
• Perform monthly recurring FP&A tasks for accurate monthly forecasts and reporting
• Support the monthly financial close process through variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year and other close tasks as necessary
• Assist in the annual budget preparations
• Prepare quarterly investor reporting decks
• Support the Controller with ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
• Minimum of 1-2 years previous experience in finance or accounting required
• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting preferred
• Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Excel required
• Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently and meet deadlines
• Retail multi-site and/or fashion industry experience a plus
• Working knowledge of US GAAP a plus
