Head of Technology (m/f/d)

We are looking for a technically savvy, data driven Head of Technology to further build the infrastructure for aeyde’s future growth. In that role you are a critical business leader responsible for building the technology infrastructure for high-end, innovative customer experiences as well as efficient and transparent back-end systems. 

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Take full ownership for the technology architecture and development at aeyde including eCommerce Platform, ERP and Data Infrastructure
• Driving large and complex technological initiatives and implementations across the whole organization
• Build, own and manage a detailed development roadmap across all technology areas and platforms
• Responsible for selection and implementation of new technology and best-practice approaches
• Actively manage and improve our technology-backed processes and infrastructure
• Own the budget and capacity management for all technology projects and activities including buy-vs-build considerations and outsourcing
• Strong focus on working cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Sales and Finance
• Leading and building up the technology team and responsible for managing all external technology partners / platforms.
• Act as a sparring partner for the senior leadership team on all technology topics
   

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a product owner or similar role within a start-up/fast-paced environment
• Deep experience with eCommerce technology as well as ERP systems in larger scale applications
• Experience in leading a team and with agile product management
• Superior analytical skills and a proactive attitude
• Strong affinity with and understanding of latest technology and a modern technology stack
• Very well-organized and good at keeping timelines
• Ability to motivate, empower and think start-up driven
• Flexible and hands-on mentality
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
