Communications Intern (Paid Internship)

Conti Communications is looking for a new intern to join their growing New York based team. Conti Communications is a brand communications agency founded in 2019 focused on press & editorial storytelling, collaborations, partnerships and events working with brands such as Costa Brazil, Guerlain, Palm Heights, Flamingo Estate, Lingua Franca, Zadig & Voltaire among others.

The duration of the internship is 6 months (possibility to shorten or extend on a case by case basis) with tasks including:

• The physical organization and management of the office
• Oversee brand sample send outs for editorial consideration
• Contribute to weekly & monthly client reporting
• Track press placements using our calendar and press tracker
• Upload client assets to our shared drive
• Manage and update editor information in our contacts database
• Maintain our media lists for each client
• Coordinate and support marketing initiatives with Conti Communications and its clients
• Assisting with gifting initiatives
• Preparing agendas, sending calendar invites and keeping minutes for all relevant meetings 

The Ideal Candidate:

• Lives in the NYC area (3 days remote working, 1-2 days in the office)
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset
• At ease with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel as well as Google Drive & Dropbox
• Very organized and able to prioritize and work to deadlines
• Independent, confident, pro-active, and solution-oriented
• Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, written and verbal
• Dynamic, team-player and interested in working in a multi-cultural, international environment
