Tory Burch is an American lifestyle brand that embodies the personal style and sensibility of its Chairman, CEO and Designer, Tory Burch. The collection, known for color, print and eclectic details, includes ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, accessories, home and beauty. Art, music, travel, interiors and the designer's own stylish parents are inspirations for the collection.

Our company launched in February 2004 with a single boutique on what was then a remote street in downtown Manhattan. Today, we are a global brand with a presence in more than 50 countries, but in many ways we are only just beginning. There is so much we want to do!

The Digital Art Director will be responsible for creating beautiful elevated photography
for the web site and other projects as needed, a larger focus on ready-to-wear,
but overseeing still photography with the team.

Research and work on building creative shoot teams:
• Present photographers & videographers to Design Director
• Present relevant and on-brand models to Design Director
• Present hair & makeup stylists to Design Director
• Create boards of approved & available talent for Creative Director

Research and work on developing seasonal shoot direction:
• Present lighting directions to Design Director
• Present seasonal hair and make up directions to Design Director
• Create boards of new directions for Creative Director

Concept and present editorial ideas to Design Director & Creative Director

On Set:
• Direct creative team on set - hair, makeup, photographer & model
• Direct styling adjustments if necessary
• Make sure lighting is the approved style guide standard and adjust if necessary
• Edit each shot on set (if possible)
• Work closely with digital tech/team to align on standards/direction

• Edit shoot - making selects for Design Director's approval
• Retouching direction - deliver retouching notes to producer

• Review and give feedback on retouching of all images
• Work closely with retouching team to align on standards/direction
• Cross check clothing for correct colors per samples
• Approve final shots for producer to load

Additional / Ongoing:

Q & A site daily

Style guides
• Review and update style guide + crop guidelines for lay downs
• Review and update style guide + crop guidelines for all still photography
(shoes, handbags, accessories etc.)
• Update on-figure style guide

Develop, improve, and propose new initiatives & ideas to elevate the site & photography constantly.


• Oversee Art Directors, nurture & develop their functional expertise & career development
• Oversee Styling Team, nurture & develop their functional expertise & career development

• BFA (or equivalent degree specializing in design/fine art or related)
• 7+ years in the design industry or a creative environment
• Proficient with Indesign & Photoshop
• Must have the technical knowledge to direct lighting & retouching
