POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT

The Senior Account Manager for U.S Wholesale serves as the manager and general contact for wholesale accounts regarding sales, management of buy, issues, brand direction, visual presentation directives, trunk shows, promotional samples, budget management and report accuracy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Total management of key corporate luxury accounts to provide product solutions, develop new business, address marketing support needs
  • Serve as primary day-to-day liaison with accounts and maintain positive ongoing relationships
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while interfacing with different internal and external contacts
  • Interact & Present strategically with upper management
  • Partner with the planning department to ensure gross margin goals are achieved
  • Build, manage, and deliver budgets and sales forecasts
  • Develop and present assortments with strong recommendations
  • Pre-meeting preparation with those involved to strategize sales opportunities
  • Sales presentation set up/follow through including: meeting agendas and meeting recaps that are proactive and results oriented
  • Understand competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, look for the “white space” opportunities
  • Monitor, communicate status to accounts and make adjustments to inventory for seasonal orders, extra stock, and special orders
  • Monitor and manage communication of the account shipping: notify accounts of special delivery due dates, tracking of shipments, follow up on invoices and special requests, handle shipping discrepancies. Provide store accounts of shipping schedule and monthly dollars shipped
  • Manage Market preparation; coordinate Buyer schedules, book travel, hotel and transportation along with preparing line sheets/binders
  • During Market, support with Showroom set up; catering, models, samples, etc.
  • Provide general communication with accounts regarding brand news, mailers, product knowledge
  • Manage the allotment process with accounts
  • Monitor cancellation of orders through report management, communication with affected account, and offer replacements as needed to ensure sales goals are met
  • Maintain the Movex reports through order maintenance, monitor releasing, extend dates for orders running late from production and issue RTV’s
  • Review, edit and update orders to ensure accuracy of reports, Movex price lists and line sheets
  • Create spreadsheet and maintain account discounts (net vs. gross)
  • Collateral management: place orders for Look Books, Videos, Press Kits, Mailers, etc. along with monitoring the expenses and invoice accounts when necessary
  • Partner with Advertising to develop seasonal mailers and Ad images

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Ability to work directly with Merchandising, Design, Marketing, Sourcing and other  departments

·       Must possess excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills

·       Detailed oriented and meticulous organizational skills

·       Ability to manage accounts independently

·       Advanced knowledge of retail math

·       Strong presentation, negotiation and leadership skills

·       Ability to prioritize and multitask

  • Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance

  • Adhere to local, state and federal laws
  • Additional responsibilities assigned by supervisor related to your position/department
  • Less than 20% travel may be required as necessary
  • Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directly manages Merchandise Assistant/and or Junior Account Manager
  • Provides coaching, direction, develops and empowers direct reports
  • Ensures work flow and processes are to maximum efficiencies for business necessity

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

  • Interacts with all levels throughout organization including employees and outside vendors

Education/Experience:

  • A minimum of 4-6 years' relevant experience in fashion apparel; women's luxury a high plus
  • Previous Movex and Crystal programs experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Highly proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook
