Financial Controller

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our Accounting team based in Soho Works White City, London. This is an initial one year fixed term contract role on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity and newly create role, supporting the Finance Director as the company goes through a period of rapid growth. The candidate will be able to make a difference and apply/develop skills in a wide range of areas within the Finance Department.

THE ROLE:

• Implement controls and balance sheet reconciliations
• Design, execute and supervise month-end processes and deliver p&l analysis
• Coach and mentor Accounts Assistant
• Help with cash-flows, treasury issues, budgets and ad-hoc reporting, ensuring all deadlines are met
• Assist FD with various inspections and internal/external audits
• Support the payroll and VAT processes (journals, payments) and manage bank reconciliation
• Supervise purchase ledger, payments, revenue reconciliation and sales ledger / invoicing
• General support to the business for accounting, invoicing, payment matters
• Assist with systems implementations and integrations for revenue streams

• Hands-on
• Experience in systems integrations
• Experience with Dynamics
• Can-do attitude, proactive and problem-solver
• Effective communicator with critical thinking skills
• Attention to detail, accountable
