PRODUCTION MANAGER

  • Oversee manufacturing across all categories (knits, wovens, accessories, gift, and home)
  • Issue Bulk POs to factories once sales/merchandise has confirmed the buy  Following Bulk PO, Manage ordering for all corresponding production materials including fabric, trim, core components (fabric, trim, brand materials) 
  • Daily communication with factories to troubleshoot production issues with fit, trims, fabric, or timing
  • Style Creation and Purchase Order Data Entry/Maintenance for all finished goods and raw materials in Bright Pearl system. (including but not limited to SKU creation, pricing, vendor setup)
  • Build and maintain Time and Action Calendars
  • Build and maintain systems to oversee Quality Control and ensure bulk goods meet design standards
  • Manage Pre-Production and Top of Production sample approvals and upkeep of all production standards (including but not limited to: main label/care label and hangtag placement and diagrams, trim and construction quality, packing, etc)
  • Manage Production TP submission and follow-through
  • Communication with factories, warehouse, freight forwarders, sales representatives, and various internal departments to troubleshoot shipping and delivery issues and ensure timely delivery of product 
  • Manage order receiving and inputting all inventory into Brightpearl
  • Keep all material fabric, trims, components inventoried and organized properly to ensure full stock of all current season components to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Build and maintain material/color standard library
  • Continuously assess existing supplier base and source new suppliers that offer competitive pricing, good quality product in line with margin requirements and order volumes. 
  • Track costing and ensure margin targets are met/maintained
