Title:  Senior Manager, Development

Education, Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing or related field
  • 5-6 years of sales and account management experience, preferably within the beauty industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the beauty, cosmetics, fragrance, and related industries
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills 
  • Previous experience in business development, and fundraising, a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects

Job Responsibilities

  • Sales: Regularly research, pitch and cultivate sponsorship leads for all CEW events and initiatives.
  • Nurture and maintain relationships with potential, existing and future sponsors
  • Oversight and execution of all sponsor-related activity for several high-profile CEW events: including sponsorship sales, sponsor speaking opportunities, on-demand sessions, and sponsor deliverables.
  • Project-manage Digital Journal sales and asset collection for annual Leadership Journal. Includes developing and executing sales strategy, timeline and communications development, coordinating team outreach, and overseeing Coordinator in managing ads.
  • Oversee special awards and partnerships, as they arise.
  • Works collaboratively with Development Department, and liaise with Membership, Marketing and Events teams to ensure that sponsor benefits are executed accurately.
  • Collaborate with other departments to capitalize on untapped resources, new areas of concentration, and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Attend outside events when relevant, for networking with potential sponsorship contacts.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience
