Preferred Location: Paris (Remote first during CV-19)

Reports to: Director of Brand Partnerships, Europe

The Role:

The Brand Development Manager for France will be responsible for bringing France's most prominent eCommerce brands to the rewardStyle Platform. This business development function is key to rewardStyle's successful local operations in France. Over time, the Brand Development Manager will also sell and execute sponsored campaigns where brands engage rewardStyle to have influencers accomplish a variety of marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and develop deep and successful business relationships with French fashion, home, beauty, lifestyle, and eCommerce brands, as well as similar international brands doing business in France
  • Identify, qualify, close, and onboard new brands to the rewardStyle Platform
  • Develop annual and semi-annual development plans
  • Design and Implement strategies to penetrate a broad spectrum of channels and approach prospective brands
  • Counsel new brands in rewardStyle's time-tested influencer marketing best practices ensuring an "on-model" relationship and setting brands up for optimal success
  • Assist French brands in educating French and global influencers on their brand story and unique value propositions
  • Sell rewardStyle brand partnership products including sponsored campaigns, structured data, and other strategic influencer marketing products
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify, develop and communicate rewardStyle's unique selling propositions and differentiators to outsiders
  • Represent rewardStyle in local brand-oriented marketing, networking, and public speaking opportunities
  • Provide recommendations to scale new revenue streams in the market
  • Other relevant projects and initiatives as required by the needs of the French market

You'll Have These Minimum Experiences and Requirements:
  • Meaningful experience (5+ years) in business development, sales, marketing, or related field with demonstrated ability to assess a customer's needs and generate ideas to overcome obstacles to success
  • Demonstrated history of target attainment, you are able to evidence a track record of goal achievement and overperformance
  • A strong understanding of and network with French fashion, beauty, home, and eCommerce brands
  • Deep and established proficiency in storytelling and narrative-building. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Credibility in the influencer marketing community and the ability to grasp the big picture related to influencer marketing, digital advertising and technology, and the details of how the rewardStyle Platform functions to drive results in our unique three-sided marketplace
  • Experience within the performance marketing landscape, an understanding of the role performance marketing plays in the wider marketing mix
  • Experience developing and driving analytically rigorous and successful marketing campaigns using a breadth of online channels
  • International experience and knowledge of diverse cultural, social, and business landscapes
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with product management, sales, marketing, PR, and creative functions on driving growth through product marketing initiatives

  • Native French language, with a proficient level of verbal & written English language.
  • Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets and Presentations along with MS Excel and PowerPoint
