Finance Controller

LMS Wellness/By Dr Vali  is looking to recruit to provide both operational and financial support to the organisation as we are implementing a major growth strategy including production of multiple retail products in skin-tech and skincare, as well as service products to continue.  The successful candidate will understand luxury, retail, healthcare, wellness and beauty sectors and may have experienced a scale appropriate effective function within SME's; driving strategic growth and expansion of an established SME.  Responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of company operations and to provide leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning and development, IT, accounting and budgeting efforts of the company.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial programs and supporting information systems of the company to include budgeting, tax planning, real estate, and conservation of assets
• Working closely with the CEO
• Experienced in strategic scale and expansion of SME's
• Approve and coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the company (all IT systems).
• Ensure compliance with all fiscal reporting requirements.
• Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, department budgets, ledger, and account maintenance and data entry.  Monitor all LMS banking activities.
• Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.
• Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.
• Process all supplier payments
• Manage monthly payroll and payments.
• Manage all tax payments and annual returns – Corporation Tax & monthly PAYE/NI
• Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards.
• Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.
• Ensure records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
• Develop and direct the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems.
• Assist in obtaining the necessary licenses and insurance required to operate as a business.
• Analyse cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business leaders. Analyse financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas.
• Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
• Oversee financial management of foreign operations/sites to include developing financial and budget policies and procedures.
