Business Analyst

We are looking for a full-time Business Analyst to join the Jones Road team and report to the General Manager.  This role will work with both quantitative and qualitative data, with a special focus on strategic planning and consumer insights to fuel brand growth.

Responsibilities

• Work with datasets across various analytical platforms to design and continually refine predictive models, and to perform analyses
• Leverage data to capture consumer insights and areas of opportunity, and to provide strategic business recommendations
• Collaborate with the Marketing, Supply Chain, and Customer Experience Teams to enhance their use of data to inform business decisions and improve efficiencies
• Create ad-hoc business reports, identifying trends and key learnings based on interpretation of data
• Manage and analyze consumer insights data, including survey and focus group results

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Very strong Microsoft Excel skills required
• At least 1+ years in consulting, private equity, finance, or data science preferred
• Financial analysis and modeling experience preferred
• Interest in beauty preferred but not required
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with storytelling and synthesis abilities
• Comfortable problem-solving in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
