The brand’s founder, Emily Bode, was the first female designer to show at Men’s NYFW with a collection entirely made of one-of-a-kind garments.

Today Bode has a storefront, tailor shop, and coffee shop in the Lower East Side of Manhattan and sells to almost 100 retailers across the globe.

 

About the Position:

Bode is looking for an experienced, organized, and motivated Director of Fulfillment to join our team. As the Director Fulfillment, you will manage a team of fulfillment associates and temp packers. We seek a candidate who can improve current fulfillment processes through the utilization of distribution and logistics technologies. This is a full-time, in person position located in Brooklyn.

 

In This Role You Will:

  • Manage a team of fulfillment associates and temp workers
  • Utilize software systems to track inventory and shipments
  • Receive orders from factories and conduct quality checks
  • Be in contact with retail stores to fulfill orders and update them on the status of their shipment
  • Make packing lists and invoices for retailers on Apparel Magic
  • Provide regular reporting on the status of fulfillment
  • Track and manage supply stocks

 

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience working in fulfillment or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leading role in fulfillment or a related field
  • Retail experience is a plus
  • A degree from an accredited four-year university, preferably a degree in business, math, information systems, or a related field
  • Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using inventory and shipment tracking software
  • Experience defining fulfillment and product metrics, using them to drive decisions
  • Strong computer literacy skills, including usage of Google Sheets/Excel including pivot tables, macros, data links, etc.
  • Proficiency with Apparel Magic is a plus
