Job Details

Self Service is one of the UK’s leading fashion distributors.  Founded in 2002 we have brought some of the world’s leading brands to our markets.

In 2018 we opened TWIIN concept store – we are all about bringing everything sunshine-like to the UK – fashion, art, lifestyle, wellness – you name it and we’re looking at it - first in our bricks and mortar store in Kings Cross and now online at www.twiin.store.

We are now looking for someone to join our busy and collaborative team, working across both branches of the company and building a new department – influencer and community management.

The Specifics:

We are looking for someone who will:

  • Build and refine the #twiinteam #selfserviceuk  community of fashion influencers, movers and shakers and tastemakers
  • Maintain dialogue with Influencers and Content Creators as part of campaigns and projects, including budget negotiations and creative brainstorming
  • Identify on-brand content creators whose primary focus is fashion, lifestyle and wellness, who have an aspirational and premium personal brand image
  • Plan a strategy for influencers to post content in line with new product releases as well as other key traffic days throughout each month
  • Handle all celebrity seeding and monitor success
  • Manage Influencer/VIP collaborations from the first contact to KPI tracking and build a strong network of long-term partnerships
  • Developing and maintaining media relations with relevant publications, print, online, and broadcast media
  • Support the Self Service retail team and retail partners both in the UK & internationally with marketing activations and influencer strategy
  • Identify creative opportunities to engage with and develop stronger relationships with our communities
  • Support the Content Manager & retail partners with Influencer generated content to push the brand (s)  across social media
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content for Self Service in line with the agreed strategy

The Ideal Candidate

The Essentials:

  • Will have strong and proven experience in developing and managing  Influencer strategies  to fulfil multiple briefs for different stake holders
  • Proactive attitude to getting in contact with influencers and building a close relationship with them
  • Strong creative and convincing storytelling skills paired with an extensive social media and story development background
  • You will definitely need to have commercial experience with major social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram etc)
  • You'll have experience in capturing a brand's tone of voice & developing strategies to communicate it
  • You'll need to be able to manage stakeholders, including clients, internal teams and third parties
  • You'll need the ability to think on your feet, take responsibility and identify new areas & opportunities to explore
  • Creative and conceptual thinker with a hands-on/self-starter attitude and the ambition and flexibility to build something new
  • Highly efficient, meticulous and collaborative team player, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • You'll need to be fluent in English

The Ideal Candidate will:

  • have 1 - 3 years in a similar role
  • Be obsessed with social media and what it can deliver
  • Have a love of luxury and premium brands
  • Be interested in a diverse range of things - from fashion and wellness to art and sustainability
  • Have strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Be super excited about & interested in the digital landscape
  • Happy to juggle multiple tasks and an ability to prioritise effectively
  • Have a sense of humour (!)
  • A passion for the job and our brand vision
  • Be happy working autonomously and able to self manage
  • This is a new department for the business and the ideal candidate will be a self starter, able to get in and roll up their sleeves with the daily operations of booking couriers and sending samples, while also able to pivot to driving top line strategies for the department and managing important relationships with influencers.

Company

Located right in the heart of London’s West End, within walking distance of Oxford Street, Self Service is one of the UK’s fastest growing and dynamic sales and distribution agencies with a remit to sell and distribute medium and high–end fashion brands from all around the world to luxury boutiques, multi store independents and department stores throughout the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

Launched in 2002 by former retailer Obi Ejiofor, with a view to creating the perfect “one stop shop” for buyers – a place where a retailer could buy pretty much everything they might need for their business – where all the stress of finding exciting, directional and commercial collections could be removed – the showroom has developed into a fully integrated sales and distribution operation, with a main sales office and showroom space in London; a bonded warehouse at Heathrow, a second warehousing, marketing and accountancy office based in Chiswick London and sub agents worldwide.

At the heart of the business, lies a deep rooted passion for the fashion industry and a commitment to encourage sustained growth and longevity for the brands that we look after. Key to this is our extensive base of specialist retailers and our in depth knowledge of the market – as well as the careful selection of brands that compliment rather than compete with each other.
