Purpose:

To manage the press office on a day-to-day basis, providing support to the Press Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of the press office; responsible for all daily send outs both in the UK and Internationally supported by the Communications Assistant.
  • Save all global press received.
  • Manage courier send outs (local / global).
  • Support with seasonally archive press samples.
  • Assist with seasonal press releases and inspirations.
  • Manage all press enquiries and credit requests.
  • Work closely with the Press Manager to identify key influencers and celebrities for dressing opportunities. 
  • Liaise and create appointments with celebrity stylists and agents.
  • As directed by the Press Manager, sell in key stories for credits and ‘front of book” pages in key print and on-line press.
  • Manage the seasonal look books and press orders.
  • Manage the press office database, ensuring it is up to date.
  • Manage and oversee editorial cuttings books, ensuring they are up to date.
  • Prepare the monthly press highlights.
  • Identify daily stories in trade and consumer media and communicate this to the team.
  • Act as a guardian of all editorial media in both print and on-line press coverage.  Save onto the system regularly. Ensure all the saved coverage is extremely organised and easy to find and identify.
  • Assist with all branded events.
  • Help and execute the seasonal commercial videos for wholesale.
  • Manage all press reports and create monthly coverage reports.
  • Be the professional and helpful go-to for ad-hoc help in the team; help with general press office admin duties and expenses.
  • Ensure the press office is stocked with all the latest magazines and file all press coverage.
  • Act as an assistant to the Chief Marketing Officer, helping to plan meetings and create diary appointments and help with bigger features that need fact checking.

Any other tasks as requested. 

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience in press office within luxury brand - ideally 1 year.
  • Demonstrate evidence of excellent understanding of Fashion GPS.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Proficient in DMR.
  • Ability to be pro-active, use initiative and work independently.
  • Pace: Ability to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment by being flexible and adaptable.
  • Communication: Strong and effective presentation skills and ability to converse with a diverse range of people at all levels.
  • Network: Ability to build relationships and network easily, both internally and externally
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellence: High level of finesse and excellence required in delivery of all tasks.
