- As a senior member of the retail product team you will work closely with product managers, regional commercial teams and global marketing to make Shopify POS available in more geographies
- Develop clear product positioning, personas and key points of differentiation (competitive advantage) that comes to life in everything we do in market
- Have a holistic understanding of the entire funnel across marketing and product touch points
- Partner with global and regional marketing teams to develop a cross-channel demand generation strategy for launch and continue growth including audience segmentation, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and optimization
- Lead the ideation and execution of campaigns that promote growth for our business, partnering with product, data, demand gen, regional marketing teams
- Develop marketing materials by collaborating with content marketing and our marketing UX teams to develop compelling and unique marketing collateral across channels
- Identify KPIs, set targets, and analyze the results of product launches and growth efforts against those targets
- Partner closely with product, content marketing and creative teams to improve conversion of our free trial funnel by ensure merchants understand the value of what they'll get if they commit to using our solution
- Lead the development of sales enablement collateral including sales presentations, demos, case studies and more
- Work closely on product management, research and merchant facing teams to analyze current product strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities and create plans for improvement based on needs of merchants and market trends
- Communicate effectively and often to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned
Qualifications
Requirements for the Role:
- Extensive experience in marketing, product marketing, product or a customer consulting role
- The ability to thrive in uncertainty, resolve ambiguity and think quickly on your feet
- Experience driving product growth
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, while being able to stay focused on the big picture and pay attention to details
- A resourceful attitude and positive negotiation skills - you'll be working with a lot of different teams across Shopify as well as with external partners

- Experience working at point of sale, ecommerce or tech industry- it's important to understand our platform and the products we deliver
- Experience using Shopify or any ‘like' commerce platforms
- Experience using data/analytics to measure the impact of your work
