DIGITAL DESIGN DIRECTOR

Location: London, E8

Hours: Full time

 LN-CC are looking for an experienced, talented and ambitious Digital Design Director to join our fast paced in-house creative team to continually help innovate our growing multi-brand ecommerce platform, social touchpoints and brand. Someone who understands what goes into successful digital products, services and campaigns, knows every part of the digital production process and has the right sensibility for fashion graphics and communications.

You will be responsible for conceptualising and creating the next generation of digital experiences, pushing the boundaries of what's possible or known. Converting ideas into highly usable and intuitive interfaces for simple, engaging, often visually rich sites, installations, and communications.

You will help drive the creative process from concept to final execution, ensuring the highest level of quality and design thinking at all levels, and will demonstrate a refined sense of composition, typography & color, as well as motion, interaction & user experience.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing, innovating, and upholding LN-CC brand and style guidelines; ensuring brand identity and brand frameworks are reflected across external and internal customer touchpoints. You will be the owner and guardian of digital output for LN-CC.
  • Working closely with the Head of Creative to elevate the quality, creativity, and deliverables of all asset creation.
  • A key link to the stakeholders across digital, UX, performance marketing, and brand teams.
  • Supporting the conception, creation, development, and design of all digital assets (homepages, emails, editorial, digital ads/banners, videos, interactive animations) – this includes the management of all content and asset delivery.
  • Respond to briefs, filtering down to the creative team and leading the development of innovative and compelling creative concepts.
  • Commissioning talent such as illustrators, animators, stylists, photographers, etc. to create content for new projects.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 8-10+ years of design experience in a deadline driven, digital-first environment.
  • A relevant (directional) portfolio, with demonstrated experience designing for brands in the luxury fashion sector.
  • Previous experience producing large volumes of digital assets, including motion graphics and animation.
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - most important being InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator (Adobe CS), AfterEffects, with Cinema 4D, a bonus, though not essential.
  • Ability to produce work for a wide range of channels, including social media, email, desktop and mobile, with a good understanding of the best practices of each platform.
  • Interest and experience in the latest technologies such as Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, 3D and more.
  • Proven video experience across all areas of the process including storyboarding, directing, editing and software knowledge.
  • A detail orientated approach with ability to work independently and manage more than one project at a time, and to liaise with their team throughout.
  • Great attention to detail, forthcoming with ideas and initiatives, enthusiastic and collaborative.
  • Experience in content creation for social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
  • Commercially focused with a curiosity to understand the performance behind the images.
    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate creative ideas and briefs.
