JOB DESCRIPTION
ART DIRECTOR, Art & Brand
Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Art Director and VP of Art and Branding in the development of innovative design concepts across print and digital, including but not limited to graphic design, typography, illustration and animation direction
- Actively communicate with cross-functional partners to understand the strategy and deliverables, and articulate thinking behind the aesthetic and design decisions for internal buying
- Actively generate layouts/comps and final art for both digital (site, email, digital ads, etc.) and print marketing projects
- Explore new visual styles that the team can use across all channels for our franchises
- Collaborate with the editorial team to create compelling stories in line with the season's inspiration and campaign.
- Understand the learnings from previous campaigns and continue to push the creative.
- Research and be inspired by current trends in the fashion and design industry
- Ensure the level of excellence in all creative
Education & Prior Experience
- 7+ years of relevant experience (preferably in the fashion industry)
- Proficient in Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator and Keynote. AfterEffects and AEM are a plus
- Bachelor's degree in communication design or a related field
- Strong presentation skills
- Highly driven. Proactive and takes initiative
- A strong background in fashion forward typography and design is a must.
- Excellent time management skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
