Job Details
At Shopify, our approach to providing benefits differs from many companies out there. We strive to provide flexible and inclusive benefits and perks that represent and encourage an employee's holistic self, while also having strong intent behind them. We like to be data informed, but not data driven, because we know there's more to building thoughtful, intentional programs than just looking at what quantitative research tells us. As we grow globally, we want to incorporate a consistent approach across all of our programs while also aligning not only to Shopify's culture, but the culture in the market we are operating within.
As a Benefits Specialist, you are passionate about employee benefits and perks. You understand the value that they provide to employees' day-to-day lives and are excited to make a difference in an innovative organization. You'll be part of our Talent Operations Team and will help support the growth of our organization by implementing, executing and administering our benefit, retirement savings, and perk programs for Canada and the US (respectively).
You'll be working on the following things:

Maybe it was a particularly challenging problem that you had to tackle, or a case where you directly impacted someone's well-being with regards to benefits. Whatever it may be, provide the context, explain your approach and toot that horn!
