POSITION OBJECTIVE:
This position is responsible for retail technology infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance for all Chico's FAS retail locations. This includes registers, back office systems, mobile devices, printing, data cabling, and phones. In conjunction with the hardware, this team is responsible for implementing and managing Mobile Device Management and OS Management for retail store hardware. This position is responsible for the leadership of a project management team that is responsible for IT aspects of New Stores, Store Relocations, and Store Closings including vendor and budget management.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for staffing, scheduling and performance evaluations of In-Store Hardware team.
- Ensures all reporting employees uphold department performance standard policies/procedures (i.e. attendance, punctuality, productivity and quality).
- Ensures proper creation, maintenance, and distribution of relevant documentation to the In-Store Hardware team regarding projects, issues, policies, and procedures.
- Monitors workflow daily to ensure all work orders and issues are being resolved according to team standards.
- Ensures all escalated issues given to In-Store Hardware team are handled in a timely basis and that the resolution is communicated to the appropriate personnel and leadership.
- Ensures proper follow-up on all staffing and procedural issues.
- Serves as lead on various projects as assigned by the Director, Operations Support.
- Ensures all confidential conversation are kept confidential.
- Serves as Tier 3 Support and training mentor for staff on hardware and software relevant to the team.
- Assigns training to associates as appropriate to overcome challenges and develop associates.
- Values individuality and the diverse talents of their team. Leads the team by communicatingexpectations, providing guidance, delivering feedback, and empowering the team to be their best.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience required.
- 7+ years' experience with POS technology and Field Technology Systems (Hardware and Software)
- Demonstrated Experience with personnel management
- Demonstrated QA experience
- Demonstrated Experience with Budget / Project / Vendor Management
- Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor others to increase the abilities of the organization
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Must have an upbeat, positive attitude and the ability to motivate individuals to provide extraordinary customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be dependable, punctual and reliable
- Must be available to work nights and weekends and provide off-hours support
- Analytical and strategic planning skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Demonstrates the ability to identify issues / opportunities and drive results through leadership in a collaborative environment
- Excellent combination of business decision making skills and fiscal responsibility.
- Ability to multitask large volumes of work in a demanding environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience managing server environment a plus.
