TO THE MARKET is seeking a Sales and Operations Assistant to support two Sales Directors. The job will move from home to office or any other location assistance is required. We're on the lookout for someone with a positive attitude, great organizational skills, energetic, personable and proactive.
The successful candidate will:

Need to be highly organized and have a strong attention to detail with excellent computer and communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong admin ability is essential - must be competent in Excel and PowerPoint and willing to learn Canva
Must be a team player who is able to work autonomously in an accurate and timely manner with attention to detail and be comfortable with tight deadlines
Have a passion for the fashion industry (both apparel and home goods) and understand the process from design, production, merchandising, sales and consumer
Be willing to offer creative input into a design project
Be willing to represent TO THE MARKET professionally at meetings with clients
Be able to travel up to 40% of the time, both nationally and internationally
Have great “soft” skills, an extremely strong work ethic, be polite, friendly and not afraid of hard work and non-traditional working hours
The Key Responsibilities:
- Uploading all information of each account’s buys per season
Updating buyer lists and researching new buyers information
Maintaining and tracking key relationships and suppliers
Researching and monitoring the markets to discover new retailers and potential partners, evaluating current stocklists
Maintaining sample log both incoming and outgoing
Confirming appointments
Making and maintaining linesheets and other sales tools
Managing and maintaining Sales Director(s) agendas (working and personal): coordinating and scheduling appointments, meetings, and external conferences and organize calls, Skype/Zoom meetings, and conference calls
Planing all travel and logistics (accommodations, itineraries, rental cars, and other travel needs)
Providing general and administrative support (expenses report, invoices, personal documents,…)
Planning and managing events for the Sales Director at home and for the team in the office (suppliers, menus, guests lists, logistics,...)
Running any and all errands for the Sales Director or for the office
Ordering supplies, keep all spaces clean and orderly in the office
Overseeing deliveries to home and office, manage shipments, organize company events/meetings
