The Team 

The Tommy Hilfiger global & PVH EMEA visual merchandising, display & windows department is a creative hub within omni-channel organization. This department oversees the creative strategy, development, and execution of product presentation across Tommy Hifliger global, Calvin Klein EMEA, and heritage brand and all points of sale. This includes full price retail stores, franchise locations, wholesale shop-in-shops, concession, and outlet channels. The Tommy Hilfiger global team sets global direction and works collaboratively with two other regional hubs in: New York and Hong Kong. To extend this outreach the team is set-up to also support the needs of local markets across Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific. This team works in parallel with the global marketing team on a 360 concept and consumer messaging approach. The Calvin Klein regional team collaborates with the New York global headquarters on adapted direction to support the EMEA business needs. This includes visual merchandising, campaign roll out, and display strategies across the region. This team works in collaboration with numerous functions across the omni-channel business as well as local markets. The Tommy Hilfiger global & PVH EMEA visual merchandising, display & windows teams are responsible for creating and communicating all Visual Merchandising tools including all seasonal guidelines, principles, and training tools for all divisions across the Tommy Hilfiger global, Calvin Klein EMEA, and heritage brands. Tools that will help provide a look and feel that represent both brands and protects its core DNA and ensures that retail/franchise stores, shop-in-shops, and outlets are delivering premium consumer experience through dynamic product presentation. This is supported by strong collaboration with store concept & design, marketing, merchandising, markets and all areas of the omni-channel team to ensure that the omni-channel visual merchandising, display, and windows strategy, the countries and point of sale needs are met.

The Position 

The Specialist, Creative Concepts, CK EMEA will report into the Manager, Display & Windows CK EMEA and will work alongside a team of designers to deliver the global creative concept adaptation in EMEA markets. The main responsibilities will include driving excellence in seasonal window direction, production, and roll-out of general creative concepts. This role will work in a creative team that services brand, marketing, and commercial needs of the CK Outlet business.  

Key Responsibilities: 

CREATIVE: 

  • Concept development, production and roll-out of general CREATIVE as adaptations of the global directive for all divisions in EMEA Outlets channel 
  • Development and creation of comprehensive digital guidelines to ensure consistent implementation in the markets and holding market training sessions at installations. 
  • Implementing EMEA HQ sustainable standards, supplier and material sourcing with sustainable or green certifications, development or recycling guidelines and decreasing local market’s waste. 
  • Collaboration with Display, VM, Outlet, VM Communications, Merchandising, Marketing, and markets on maximizing the seasonal creative and product strategy. 
  • Creation of a concept and sample brief including all necessary and technical information such as specs, allocation and artworks for the supplier 
  • Campaign application, briefing suppliers, and roll-out strategy in Outlet channels in collaboration with VM Communications, EMEA & Global Marketing team  
  • Drive Special in-store window display & creative for Outlets

OPERATIONAL: 

  • Drive and develop standardization and evolving store-tiering and outlet standards in collaboration with VM, Display, and VM Communications team. 
  • Alignment of Store Development/SIS team on all seasonal opening pack requirements and updates  
  • Continuously contribute on improving our digital platform and developing a window creative webshop for local market orders. 
  • Outlet channel budget management for all seasonal and non-seasonal concepts, including price negotiations with suppliers, Purchase Order management and Recharge 
  • Seasonal and non-seasonal guideline development for all Outlet tools that is in line with global brand standards. 
  • Partner with Display & Windows Specialist and manage to the EMEA budget requirements, sample adjustments and development including budget signoff with senior management  
  • Submission of project deliverables, status reports, proper production plans and supplier briefs  
  • Management of multiple suppliers and tendering sessions while ensuring quality and items are produced at the best costs 
  • Driving the digitalization of processes and implementation and optimizing site related master data  

The Ideal Candidate: 

  • Strong fashion affinity and knowledge/awareness of the retail industry  
  • Interest and good understanding of 3D projects 
  • Interest to work in an international and diverse team and set up to work in interaction with various cultures 
  • Ability to conceptualize ideas and bring them to realization  
  • Ability to manage and multi-task between projects and work streams  
  • Ability to be self-reliant and comfortable with decision-making  
  • Ability to combine creative thinking with strategic execution 
  • Minimum 3-4 years experience as retail window concept designer or Visual Merchandising, preferably in a fashion retail environment 
  • Experience in supplier communication and clear briefing 
  • Experience in visual communication and creation of appealing documents 
  • University and/or role related degree in Design, Retail Business Administration or Marketing 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Excellent command of English language (written & spoken)  
  • Good knowledge of MS office 
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs 
  • Knowledge of 3D or CAD programs (SketchUp / Revit / AutoCAD 
  • Knowledge of digital VM programs (Mockshop)
