The Team

The Tommy Hilfiger global & PVH EMEA visual merchandising, display & windows department is a creative hub within omni-channel organization. This department oversees the creative strategy, development, and execution of product presentation across Tommy Hifliger global, Calvin Klein EMEA, and heritage brand and all points of sale. This includes full price retail stores, franchise locations, wholesale shop-in-shops, concession, and outlet channels. The Tommy Hilfiger global team sets global direction and works collaboratively with two other regional hubs in: New York and Hong Kong. To extend this outreach the team is set-up to also support the needs of local markets across Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific. This team works in parallel with the global marketing team on a 360 concept and consumer messaging approach. The Calvin Klein regional team collaborates with the New York global headquarters on adapted direction to support the EMEA business needs. This includes visual merchandising, campaign roll out, and display strategies across the region. This team works in collaboration with numerous functions across the omni-channel business as well as local markets. The team environment is collaborative, dynamic, innovative, resourceful, open and respectful.

The Tommy Hilfiger global & PVH EMEA visual merchandising, display & windows teams are responsible for creating and communicating all Visual Merchandising tools including all seasonal guidelines, principles, and training tools for all divisions across the Tommy Hilfiger global, Calvin Klein EMEA, and heritage brands. Tools that will help provide a look and feel that represent both brands and protects its core DNA and ensures that retail/franchise stores, shop-in-shops, and outlets are delivering premium consumer experience through dynamic product presentation. This is supported by strong collaboration with store concept & design, marketing, merchandising, markets and all areas of the omni-channel team to ensure that the omni-channel visual merchandising, display, and windows strategy, the countries and point of sale needs are met.

The Position

The Junior Visual Merchandiser Retail & Wholesale TH Global will report into the Senior Manager, Visual Merchandising Retail & Wholesale TH Global. Main responsibilities will include supporting the creation of  all aspects of the Visual Merchandising tools and directions from HQ to ensure the global markets’ executions are in line with brand image and commercial goals. This role will also ensure our company sustainability mission and goals are embedded into our visual merchandising strategy and roll-out.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative

  • Be an integral part in de creation of the VM & styling strategies for all VM guidelines in line with divisional directions and commercial goals
  • Partner with the Visual Merchandiser on the creation of all non-seasonal Guidelines content 
  • Support the creation of all Full Price VM Principles content creation in partnership with the Graphic Designers and all relevant teams
  • Support the creation and activation of in-store product-related projects such as capsule launches, pop-up and product pushes 
  • Support the team in setting a clear global SIS visual strategy in line with brand and commercial targets
  • Partner with the VM team on delivering all GKO VM content to ensure clear and inspiring seasonal direction 
  • Take part in VM seasonal digital trainings and act as VM app ambassador to push engagement
  • Deliver feedback on all VM reports from global teams on the VM app 
  • Support the Visual Merchandisier in managing the feed of the VM app in collaboration of the Communications team to boost content and increase engagement
  • Support seasonal Amsterdam showroom set ups in collabartion with Creative Services and all divisions

Operational

  • Support the Visual Merchandiser on the creation of the Seasonal VM Guidelines shoot schedule, location and samples
  • Build a strong working relationship with Regional VM teams and VM/Windows teams through good collaboration and consistent communication
  • Build a strong working relationship with the omnichannel team (Store concept, development, merchandising, planning) to deliver and meet VM expectations and drive the SIS business and product presentation strategy
  • Build a strong relationship with all the Divisions and HQ Merchandisers to deliver visual startegies perfectly in line with the product messages
  • Support the digital transformation of all VM guidelines/assets to futureproof them and boost efficiency both at HQ and globally
  • Support market visits and key store openings
  • Deliver post production on video and audio contents 
  • Support the Visual Merchandiser to ensure the Showrooms’ VM packs are kept up to date globally, and will pro-actively communicate new elements and/or discontinued ones
  • Participate to Model Stores and trainings, Global events, Store openings, VM Guidelines shoots

The Ideal Candidate: 

  • 2/3-year experience in Visual Merchandising 
  • Strong eye for Design, Fashion and retail trends
  • Excellent communication skills, perfect command of English language (spoken & written)
  • Excellent planning, organizational skills, ability to multi-task
  • Good knowledge of MS office & Adobe Suite software
  • Ability to conceptualize ideas
  • Building cross functional relationships and good collaboration skills
  • Ability to multi-task between projects and work streams
  • Ability to work in a team environment and a team player
  • Relevant experience, proven track record of results
  • Strong interest in sustainability and circularity business model studies
  • Global experience working with various cultures and large scale fashion brands

Nice-to-haves: 

  • Digital communication and graphic design experience
  • Retail and wholesale experience in the field and head office
