Libertine has used his signature graphics, beadwork, and crystal designs to pave the way for the current embellishment craze. Our in-house designed prints reference art, fashion, history, design, travel, culture, and Hartig’s love of and work with rescue dogs. Libertine is internationally recognized as a brand with a devoted cult following.

We are looking for a Production & Development Coordinator to join our team at our Los Angeles studio.

Our ideal candidate will be a detailed oriented individual with excellent communication and project coordination skills. The role is a vital part of the development and production team, assisting in the placement, execution and follow-up of manufacturing and raw material orders as well as assisting with sourcing and product development.

Duties + Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate development and production WIP charts
  • Source seasonal fabric and trims that meet quality and pricing parameters
  • Help maintain fabric, trim and style library
  • Launch and review lab dips and strike off with mills. Place and follow up on all sample yardage and trim orders.
  • Send new order CADs to sales/design/PD teams as directed to by manager
  • Process all data entry into our production management system, including style set-up, costing, and creating and maintaining purchase orders to the factory.
  • Oversee supplier relationships to ensure all suppliers meet and maintain delivery, quality and margin expectations. Communicate with them regularly to clarify all priorities and technical details.
  • Attend fittings to take note of all changes
  • Send comments to factories for PP and TOP samples
  • Work with Graphic Artist on updating hangtags/labels/construction pages/packing methods as needed based on direction given to you by manager
  • Submit invoices for payment to Accounting team and maintain accurate records of each vendor’s payment history

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years relevant production or development experience
  • Team player with the ability to handle fast-paced work environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and multi-task
  • Strong communication, time management, and presentation skills
  • Strong computer skills - MS Excel, MS Word, and Google Workplace
  • Familiarity with an ERP system, especially Apparel Magic a plus
  • Domestic experience a plus
