CORE FUNCTION
We are currently recruiting for an Ecommerce Assistant to support the Ecom Manager. As an essential part of the team, you will assist with all aspects of the day-to-day e-commerce operations, processing orders, dealing with customer service, managing administrative tasks as well as working with our online platforms. This is an exciting and varied role where you will be responsible for the upkeep and development of the Saloni website and online store, supporting day to day trading, customer service and the continued growth and development of the website.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Trouble shooting orders - everything from sizing to shipping
- Monitoring, replying and driving sales through the customer service channels
- Responding to customer enquiries over the phone, email and live chat
- Assisting in the development of the customer service and CRM channels
- Updating, improving, and optimizing our product pages and product listings
- Improving site flow and categories to offer the best possible user experience
- Support Ecom Manager with tracking visitor behavior by analyzing our Google Analytics data
- Editing and uploading product images and support with photo shoot coordination
- You will also be involved in the strategy and analysis of the website's performance to help improve and increase revenue month by month
- Support with reporting of website, product and digital marketing performance
- Working closely with the development team to ensure any technical issues with the website can be resolved as quickly as possible
- Support the Ecom Manager with the weekly and quarterly reporting and commentary
- Any other ad hoc duties as required
KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Very organized and a keen eye for detail
- Positive attitude and eager to learn
- Tech savvy and an interest in website development as well as the fashion industry
- Basic Shopify / ecommerce knowledge and past luxury experience would be ideal but not essential
- Super friendly and personable
- Ability to use own initiative and prioritize
- Passionate about your work with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Motivated, disciplined and career orientated
